Bacio Trattoria

My wife and I visited the restaurant on August 28th, for a Wine Journeys event held at Bacio Trattoria, a very nice Italian restaurant. The food came to our table at a proper pace as we thoroughly enjoyed ever bite. The food was prepared from scratch - the flavours were "dancing" on my palate. The first course was a beautifully prepared Caprese Salad. The next course was Bucatini Amatriciana - a pasta dish with Guanciale (pork cheek meat)...(never had that before...SO GOOD!!) with a homemade sauce that was perfectly seasoned. The last course was a Panko-crusted tender, chicken breast with seasonal vegetables and potatoes. For dessert - we enjoyed a Coffee-Infused Mousse with a Orange Pekoe Tea. When we spoke with the Chef, Francesca - she was very passionate about the freshness of the ingredients, making everything from scratch like the way her Grandma taught her as a child. Francesca made the customers feel welcome and part of the family - as if you entered her home for a visit. We would definitely go there for another fabulous dinner again!!

I got the chicken parmigiana over pasta it was excellent, and you can tell they use high quality ingredients. Chef Renato even gave me some homemade bread with olives and olive oil, which was very tasty and original flavour. The pasta was perfectly al dente, the chicken was juicy and well-cooked, and the cheese was rich and flavorful. Easily the best chicken parm I’ve had. The people here are very welcoming and genuine. Thanks will be back.

Bacio Trattoria is the right place for you if you’re looking for authentic Italian cuisine. I could taste Italy in my tongue. The staffs are so friendly and welcoming. Would definitely recommend

Most Amazing night!! Hands done the best night out I have ever had! The kindest and love the staff give is outstanding! Having a meal here is like being with family. The food is absolutely delicious, definitely homemade and very fresh!! I actually cried. Thank you, my heart is so full.

It’s a really nice restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. It was my first time visiting here and they had really delicious vegetarian options since I do not eat meat..the owner is very sweet he came personally for the review and also offered shots on the house. I would say you must visit!! Highly recommend

I am very fussy about my Italian food having grown up in an Italian household with my favourite chef (Mom). By far the best Italian food experience I've had in Barrie. Highly recommend whatever the daily special is. Beautiful people and beautiful food. If you're looking for an East Side Mario's experience and taste, go somewhere else. For a true taste of Italy, Bacio Trattoria.

I had a fantastic experience at Baccio! The food was absolutely excellent their service was great The summer cocktails were refreshing specially with this hot weather if you really looking for real Italian food Baccio is right place to go. I’m a seafood lover, and the owner surprise me with this platter.and pizza frita

I just wanted to say thank you to every single staff member at this lovely establishment. I have never experienced such amazing customer service, and I will definitely be back. You can truly tell that this place cares about each one of its customers. I went for my 23rd birthday, and it was by far the best birthday dinner I’ve had in years. Our waiter gave me a little light as a gift and told me how special I was to the word, I have truly never felt so welcomed and appreciated I actually cried. The food was also to die for, and to top it all off, they gave us two free, desserts, and shots Thank you, thank you, thank you. This place is one of a kind, and I will absolutely be returning
